First Transgender Consultation Session in Fife

Tomorrow sees the first of the new get-together sessions for Transgender folk in Fife, organised by LGBT Health and Wellbeing.

I know I’m a little late in posting about this but I’ve been in the middle of moving house and things are somewhat chaotic. 😦

Do you identify as Transgender or are exploring your gender? | We need your help

Saturday 25th June | 1-3pm
Central Kirkcaldy venue, Fife

We invite you to our special meet up. Would you like to see a regular social gathering open to transgender people in Fife?

Come and join us to discuss what this group should look like. Share your thoughts about when the group should meet, where and what’s essential to making sure that we create a safe, friendly and welcoming group.  Anyone who identifies as a trans woman, trans man, non-binary, genderqueer, gender fluid, trans feminine, trans masculine or is exploring their gender is welcome. Diane, Frankie and Annette from the

Fife LGBT Health team will be there to welcome you.

Contact Annette by Friday 24th June with any enquiries and to find out venue details.  If you can’t make it along then please share your thoughts in advance. Contact annette@lgbthealth.org.uk or call 0131 523 1100

Those travelling by car can park in the car park on St Mary’s Road.  It is the Mosque car park.  So when you are heading down Dunnikier Road, turn left just before the Tattoo parlour and the car park is just on your right hand side.  The venue is also about 15-20 minutes’ walk from the bus and train station.  Within the venue, changing spaces will be available.  Access to the Scouts Hall is on Dunnikier road, through a blue gate and up a number of steps (you can see from the street view).

If you’ve any questions tomorrow please call the Fife work phone 07508 608699.  If you’ve any questions before 3pm today then please contact Annette at LGBT Health via email or call her on 0131 523 1100.

This will be an exciting event tomorrow – the first in Fife and what will hopefully mark the first of many regular events.
