Pink Saltire is an organisation that I have worked closely with for a number of years now and is Scotland’s community voice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) people of all age groups.
Since 2014 they have been doing an immense amount of good work for the LGBT+ community here in Scotland, and it is no exaggeration to say that recent advances in the wellbeing, understanding and acceptance of the LGBT+ community in Scotland as a whole is in no small part down to their efforts.
In this post I’ll be reviewing some of the products that are available from their online store.
Having recently ordered a selection of their items the first thing I can say about them is that they are all of very good quality.
Pins and Keyrings

There is no overspill or stortage and there is no bubbling.
The pins clip on securely and the keyrings are extremely solid.
Facemask

This will be my “go to” mask from now on.
(The picture doesn’t do justice to the bright colours)
Shoelaces

I unpacked them to check and the material is good and strong.
The aglet (that’s the bit at the end) is solidly crimped over and looks like it will last a good, long time.
Should be long enough for most shoes and boots.
Face paint

It dried to the touch quite quickly, the colours are good, and it came off with just a swish of a wet wipe.
(Remember, do NOT put wet wipes down the toilet, even if the packaging says you can!)
Lanyard

Colours are exceptionally bright.
Possibly a little shorter than I would like, but then I’m over 6ft tall and sturdily built.
So I’m more than pleased with my little haul and can recommend that if you want to avail yourself of any of their items in the shop then you’ll not be disappointed.
Standard postage is to the UK, but if you live elsewhere and want to buy some then just fire an email to info@pinksaltire.com and they can make it happen.
Enjoy!
